The 141 Waverly frame is part of our limited edition line, marking the very beginning of Side Eye. As our first design, it holds a special place in the collection, both as the origin of our vision and a reflection of the process that shaped the brand. Produced in strictly limited quantities, each piece represents a moment in time, making the 141 not just a frame, but a rare and foundational expression of Side Eye.

At 141 Waverly Pl, the idea for Side Eye first took shape, returning to the same bench every Sunday, some of the best coffee in New York in hand, we began to define what the brand could become. Nothing was forced; ideas unfolded naturally, carried by the rhythm of the city and a shared sense of building something meaningful together. That corner became more than a ritual, it’s where Side Eye quietly began, and a place that continues to hold deep meaning for both of us.

The 141 Waverly frame is crafted from premium Italian acetate, the frames offer rich depth, durability, and a refined hand-finished feel, complemented by custom metal hinges and internal wire cores for flexibility and strength. Every detail, from structure to weight distribution, is developed across 94 individual production steps, in close collaboration with our Italian partner factories, ensuring a considered, high-performance frame built to last.
